Osamu got nothing but yes from me this afternoon.
"Papa, can we play this game?"
Yup.
"Papa, can I ride on your shoulders?"
Yes. Where to?
Kenzo resisted nap time, but ended up sleeping a long time. Osamu, on the other hand, woke from his nap after about 90 minutes and had the kingdom to himself while his brother slept.
Rainy season kicked back in and we're all pretty exhausted from another week of life, so we opened up all the windows that don't let rain in, enjoyed the cool yet humid rainy-smelling air waft through the house, and watched Harry Potter until dinner time. Kenzo watched the movie completely entranced.
For lunch Eri made tanabata-themed curry rice with star-shaped carrots on top.

I love this photo because Kenzo was so happy about lunch but you can tell he's also really tired after soccer practice. He's trying to hold it together and be tough.
On the way to soccer this morning it was raining pretty hard. We were listening to music and "A Man Without Love" by Engelbert Humperdinck came on. I haven't heard that in forever. The boys loved it and wanted to hear it again.
